Direct mail packages tie in directly with our proactive telemarketing schedules to maximize the effects of these "on-the-desk" promotions. Your list will be promoted as a solo effort and along with other lists from your file's major market group. Mailings go to brokers, mailers and many times, a combination of both.

These promotions are used to highlight updates, new segments, growth & usage history. E-Mail promotions are also timed to get your list reviewed for prime testing seasons.

PROACTIVE TELEMARKETING

Our proactive telemarketing is tied directly to your major market group's list activity history.

Calls are made well in advance of the time test decisions are made to ensure that your list is being included in the appropriate recommendation packages by brokers.

Not only are the primary vertical targets researched and contacted by your team but secondary and tertiary horizontal targets and included as well to capture cross-over business.

After all we call brokers and mailers, we then follow up with data cards, samples and confirming segmentation suggestions.

Also at the time of contact, we collect information regarding future mailings. This way we're ready to follow up again if your list cannot be tested in the current campaign time frame.

Our proactive telemarketing, like our reactive telemarketing is a process which continues year round, until a test order is booked.

REACTIVE TELEMARKETING

Each morning the previous day's booked orders, clearances and inquiry calls are reviewed in a group meeting by our sales people from all management teams.

This provides the perfect opportunity to advise brokers and mailers regarding "overlooked opportunities" from our management portfolio.

For example, an order is received for a list which is either in your list's major market group where your list performs well. That very day, we're in touch by phone with the broker or mailer to recommend your list for the current program.

We then follow-up with a data card, segmentation suggestions and a sample. If the follow-up is to a broker, usage history is also included in the package.

Many times, this results in a test for your list within the current mailing period.

When this sales activity does not result in an order for the current mailing, the appropriate follow-up information is recorded and we schedule a call back to the broker or mailer in plenty of time to get a test for the next mailing.

We co-op with our media owners on space ads when appropriate. Historically, the other media's provide better and more measurable results.

TRADE SHOWS/CONFERENCES

NAI has consistently exhibited at major national and regional conferences and trade shows. The marketing thrust of our exhibit is almost 100% for management. Our booth offers a complete display of all of our managed properties with data cards and samples. Our salespeople schedule meetings with brokers and mailers at these events to maximize current list usage and to generate new testing activity. Conferences and trade shows also offer an excellent opportunity to get our list owners together with major list users.
